Once again looking for any volunteers who could help behind the bar on Saturday for the Club BBQ, hoping to do rota for an hour.

If you can help please let me or Steve Buckley know.  Also can I please ask managers to send out to their parents and friends to try and get

a bigger catchment of people

Frampton came out on top in a closely fought and very competitive game.

Frampton Cotterell claimed their maiden win, beating Hucclecote 31-3 to climb off the bottom of Gloucester Premier.

The South Gloucestershire outfit had lost their previous nine league matches, but tries from James Wilkinson, Alex Giles, Phil Murphy and Mike Ashwin, plus four conversions and a penalty from Robbie Wotherspoon, guided Frampton to victory. Flanker Joe Bennett was the man of the match.

You may have seen the posters for the vet’s tour to Franconville. If you are interested, get your names to Mike Weaves or Brian Rides ASAP.

There is also a senior tour being organised to Tenby for 25th/26th April. 2 nights, Fri and Sat, with a game on the Sat against a local club, and stopping at Magor on the way home for a game on the Sunday.

Names and deposits to Simon Belsten, Mike Ashwin, and Tony Williams as soon as possible. There are limited places, and we have 29 names down already.

There is going to be a charity rugby match on the 28th Sept at the club.
