The coaching team are going to trial a new coaching system until the end of November. See attached file and read on for more details..

The aim of this system is to concentrate the coaching on specific areas, at certain times, rather than try and cover too many areas, and not achieve the improvements we need.
This also allows the players to organise themselves to concentrate on the sessions they need to attend, and take advantage of time off if they wish to do so.
Guest coaches (Paul Hull and Mariano Sambucetti ) have agreed to help out at these sessions so it’s important that we all buy into this and make the most of what is being put in place.

For it to work we must make every effort to attend all the sessions aimed at our playing positions
Although Mark Hammonds fitness sessions on Tuesdays will be aimed at a specific group (forwards / backs) , they are open to all if you wish to attend.

We will review this at the end of November, and if the response is positive, carry it on to the end of the season.

Alternatively, if not, revert back to the old way of everyone training twice a week. I think this is a great opportunity to make the most of the coaching available to us, and for ‘everyone’ to improve there playing ability.

Note: There will be a short players meeting in the changing rooms after training on Thur to give further details and answer any questions.
