Despite Ashley Down scoring a try in the first five minutes, Frampton Cotterell fought back under the inspired leadership of Captain Paul Beet to lead 19-5 at half time. Ashley Down caught Frampton Cotterell napping at the kick off for the second half, running in another try, but Frampton Cotterell held off a spirited fight back from Ashley Down to win a tight contest, thanks to two tries from man of the match K Weaver.
