Dear all, here is news of another fun social night at Crossbow house.

On Saturday 8th Oct we will be holding a joint FCRFC and Frampton Rangers Football club, Race night. The race night will start at 6.30pm.

The way things will work.

On the night there will be 8 races. Each club will manage 4 races.

Each race needs a sponsor, this will be charged at £20 each race and they can then pick the name of the race, e.g. “The Crissie Stanton stakes”. Do we have any local businesses that are willing to sponsor us? Please ask around.

Each race has 6-8 horses, these can also be brought in advance and cost £5 each horse, and they too can be named, e.g. “Tony the Nag”.

I’d like a person for each senior team to own and manage a race, the 4th race can go to the junior section. Names of race owners to me please, ASAP

All the proceeds will be split 50/50 and this advance money will form the bulk of the pot for sharing between the 2 clubs.

On the night there will be a Tote; this will be selling individual tickets for each horse in each race at £1 each bet.
The winners pot will be depend on the number of bets but will be advertised on the night after each race.

There will be food available on the night, the football club have kindly agreed to run a BBQ, and again profits from this will also be shared.

As usual I’ll be looking for volunteers to help set up and take down and 2 people to run the Tote, names to me please.
